The Style Guide View all in The Style Guide

One style. Many expressions.

Brittfurn's Modern Classics is timeless, international and considered. Here we explore how the style takes shape as warm and inviting, graphic and urban, or exclusive and grand. Expressions that can stand on their own, or meet in a personal whole.

Takkronor & Kristallkronor

The chandelier is the natural centrepiece of a room. Over the dining table it draws the company together, in the living room it brings the ceiling to life – and in a hallway with height to spare it makes a welcoming first impression.

Scale is everything: measure the room's width and ceiling height before you choose, and hang the chandelier so that its lower edge hangs clear – over the dining table, roughly 75–90 cm above the tabletop. A restrained brass chandelier blends into the modern, classic home, while a crystal chandelier catches and refracts the light for special occasions.

Our selection of chandeliers and crystal chandeliers comes from Visual Comfort & Co's designer lines and Vaughan. Shop online or see them lit in the showroom at Sturegatan 20 in Stockholm.
