Metametodo from Italian Dedar is an assured, characterful fabric in which architectural structure meets textile craftsmanship. The labyrinthine pattern runs across a smooth ground of the finest merino wool satin, where raised lines in heavy yarn create a pronounced tactile and lively effect. The undulating embroidery technique creates an intriguing contrast between strict geometric symmetry and the organic texture of the yarn. The subtle play of light and shadow gives the surface a depth that changes throughout the day and brings a sophisticated yet muted elegance to the room.
