The Adele Large ceiling light is designed by Suzanne Kasler for Visual Comfort & Co. A ceiling light sets the level of light in a room and is also the first thing you notice. Hung over a table, its lower edge should sit 60–70 cm above the top.
Choose between 2 finishes: Polished Nickel With Clear Acrylic and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass With Clear Acrylic. The tone of the metal affects how warm the light feels. The materials are nickel & chrome and glass.
It measures 71.8 cm in width and 50.8 cm in height. It weighs 46.3 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Lead time is 2-8 weeks. It is a fitting in the larger format. Over a dining table you want the width to be roughly half the tabletop, so this one suits tables from around 140 cm upwards.
We recommend the Adele Large ceiling light for dining rooms and living rooms. Stylistically it sits close to Art Deco and classic design. We recommend a dimmable bulb with a warm colour temperature, around 2700 K. That is where brass and nickel render their tones best.
