The Avant Large ceiling light is designed by Kelly Wearstler for Visual Comfort & Co. The ceiling light carries the room's base lighting and acts as a focal point. Over a dining table, allow 60–70 cm between the tabletop and the lower edge of the fitting.
The finish is Antique-Burnished Brass With Frosted Glass. The materials are brass.
It measures 152.4 cm in width and 95.9 cm in height. It weighs 16.8 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Lead time is 2-8 weeks. It is a fitting in the larger format. Over a dining table you want the width to be roughly half the tabletop, so this one suits tables from around 140 cm upwards.
We recommend the Avant Large ceiling light for dining rooms and living rooms. Stylistically it sits close to Art Deco and a modern idiom. We recommend a dimmable bulb with a warm colour temperature, around 2700 K. That is where brass and nickel render their tones best.
