The Costes table lamp is the result of Palom Contreras's collaboration with Visual Comfort & Co. The table lamp makes light personal. It works best in pairs or together with other lighting, never as the only light source in a room.
The Costes table lamp is available in 2 finishes — Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass With Linen Shade and Bronze With Linen Shade. The finish matters more than you might think: polished nickel gives a cooler light than brushed brass. The material is brass.
It measures 43.2 cm in width and 64.1 cm in height. It weighs 6.8 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Lead time is 2-8 weeks. Check the height against the table it will stand on — the lower edge of the shade should sit at roughly eye level when seated.
The fitting works particularly well in studies, hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and offices. The light source is not included. We recommend a dimmable, warm white bulb of around 2700 K to bring out the best in the metal of the fitting.
We are happy to help with lighting planning — how many light points a room needs and where they should go. Get in touch or visit us in Östermalm.
