With the elegant Fernanda, Colefax & Fowler creates an artistic expression that brings to mind classic English pleasure gardens and a timeless aesthetic. The design, part of the Hailsham collection, shows stately peacocks resting in a dreamlike tree motif full of budding flowers and berries. The fine embroidery techniques give the surface a subtle shimmer and a mother-of-pearl lustre that catches the light of the room in a very special way.

The natural texture of the linen ground gives the fabric a warm, lively feel that balances the rich embroidery. This makes Fernanda particularly suited to sweeping curtains that fall freely to the floor, but also as a sophisticated touch in the form of decorative cushions.
