Peveril from Colefax & Fowler is a versatile damask fabric from the Chilgrove collection, where charming historic aesthetics meet contemporary textile art. The design is a modern interpretation of a 17th-century Italian hand-woven damask. Carefully developed textured printing captures the feel of faded elegance and antique patina, giving the motif a captivating two-tone effect with subtle visual depth.

The natural texture of the linen blend gives the fabric a soft and lively character. It is particularly well suited to grand curtains where the pattern can come into its own, but also has the body needed for handsome upholstery on armchairs or chairs. The fabric creates a harmonious feel alongside muted velvets and plain linens in the room.
