The Piatto pendant comes from Thomas O'Brien's collaboration with Visual Comfort & Co. The ceiling light carries the room's base lighting and acts as a focal point. Over a dining table, allow 60–70 cm between the tabletop and the lower edge of the fitting.
The Piatto pendant is available in 4 finishes — Polished Nickel With Plaster White Shade, Polished Nickel With Aged Iron Shade and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass With Plaster White Shade, among others. The finish matters more than you might think: polished nickel gives a cooler light than brushed brass. The materials are nickel & chrome.
It measures 45,7 cm in width and 17,8 cm in height. It weighs 3,2 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Lead time is 2-8 weeks. The size is balanced for standard ceiling heights and works over most dining tables without dominating.
The fitting works particularly well in kitchens and dining rooms. The bulb is not included. We recommend dimmable and warm white, around 2700 K, to bring out the fitting's metal.
