The Piatto Large pendant comes from Thomas O'Brien's collaboration with Visual Comfort & Co. The ceiling light carries the room's base lighting and acts as a focal point. Over a dining table, allow 60–70 cm between the tabletop and the lower edge of the fitting.
The Piatto Large pendant is available in 4 finishes — Polished Nickel With Plaster White Shade, Polished Nickel With Aged Iron Shade and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass With Plaster White Shade, among others. The finish matters more than you might think: polished nickel gives a cooler light than brushed brass. The materials are nickel & chrome.
It measures 61 cm in width and 17,8 cm in height. It weighs 4,1 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Lead time is 2-8 weeks. It is a fitting in the larger format. Over a dining table you want the width to be roughly half the tabletop, so this one suits tables from around 140 cm upwards.
The fitting works particularly well in dining rooms, kitchens and living rooms. The bulb is not included. We recommend dimmable and warm white, around 2700 K, to bring out the fitting's metal.
