With the Chilgrove collection, Colefax & Fowler presents the exceptional fabric Roseto – a treasure of a design in which the intricate paisley motifs of antiquity are seamlessly woven together with the timeless elegance of the tree of life. The design draws inspiration from historic textiles and is built up from skilled embroidery techniques such as cornelli and chain stitch. These layers of texture create a dramatic yet balanced look that adds depth, character and a discreet lustre to the interior.

The natural texture of linen gives the fabric a soft, genuine feel that blends easily into both classic and modern settings. Roseto has a wonderful drape that is ideal for sweeping curtains, while its sturdy structure also makes it perfect for upholstering a much-loved armchair or for luxurious cushions.

The fabric is available in three atmospheric colourways: sophisticated Red/Navy, harmonious Blue and warm Red/Green. To create a balanced, cosy whole in the room, Roseto pairs well with muted plain linens or rich velvet that picks up the shades of the embroidery.
