Kasuri from Sanderson is built around abstract form, drawn with the wealth of detail that characterises the house's designs. The house was founded in 1860 by Arthur Sanderson in Islington, London.
The pattern repeat is 61.0 cm, which makes it a large repeat. At that scale the pattern becomes the focal point of the room. Add a margin to your quantity calculation to allow for matching. The pattern is a straight match, which simplifies installation. Kasuri comes in 4 colourways — Pondicherry, Indigo, Caraway and Country Linen. It is worth taking home several samples. The same design can turn out quite differently depending on the colourway.
Kasuri comes from the Caspian collection.
Each roll is 52 cm wide and 10.05 metres long, printed on paper. The weight is 154 g/m².
Kasuri is at its best in living rooms and hallways. The look has romantic softness, colour intensity and a modern touch, with a light overall tone. Combine it with plain textiles and natural-toned wood to give the pattern room to work.
A sample costs 50 kr and tells you more than any screen. You are welcome to visit the showroom on Sturegatan if you would like to see the whole collection.
