The Sloane pendant is designed by Visual Comfort & Co. A ceiling light sets the level of light in a room and is also the first thing you notice. Hung over a table, its lower edge should sit 60–70 cm above the top.
The Sloane pendant is available in 4 finishes — Antique Nickel With White Glass, Bronze With White Glass and Antique Nickel, among others. The finish matters more than you might think: polished nickel gives a cooler light than brushed brass. The materials are nickel & chrome and glass.
The width is 39.4 cm. It weighs 6.8 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Lead time is 2-8 weeks. The size is balanced for normal ceiling heights and works over most dining tables without dominating.
The fitting works particularly well in kitchens and dining rooms. The light source is not included. We recommend a dimmable, warm white bulb of around 2700 K to bring out the best in the metal of the fitting.
We are happy to help with lighting planning — how many light points a room needs and where they should go. Get in touch or visit us in Östermalm.
