Walcott from Colefax & Fowler is a seemingly plain fabric with an unusually rich and tactile surface texture. Part of the collection of the same name, the fabric is skilfully woven from a sophisticated blend of yarns in which linen and cotton meet the softness of viscose. Together the different yarns create an intriguing depth and a fine richness of nuance that catches the changing light of the room. It is a textile that conveys a sense of genuine craftsmanship and quiet elegance to every room.

Thanks to its fine, hard-wearing quality and beautiful drape, Walcott works perfectly for fully upholstered furniture such as armchairs and sofas, but equally well for heavy draped curtains or stately cushions. It is a perfect, versatile base that is easily combined with more patterned fabrics, such as its collection companion Walcott Check. The fabric comes in twelve considered colourways, among them natural tones such as Moss Green, Terracotta, Old Blue and Sand.
