The Villandry wallpaper from Zoffany is based on a damask weave.
The pattern repeat is 91,4 cm, which makes it a large repeat. That makes the pattern a distinct feature that can carry a room on its own — allow for extra material when matching the pattern. The pattern is a straight match, which makes hanging simpler. Villandry is available in 2 colourways — Serpentine and Cinnabar. The colourways differ more than you might expect; choose according to the light in the room.
The pattern belongs to the Damask The Alchemy of Colour collection.
Each roll is 68,6 cm wide and 10,05 metres long, printed on paper. The weight is 153 g/m².
We recommend Villandry for living rooms. Its character combines a classic poise, elegance and sophisticated restraint, with a dark overall tone. Works both across a whole room and on a single feature wall — the latter is well worth trying in smaller spaces.
The palette is dominated by blue, dark and deep in tone with a cool undertone. Consider which way the room faces — north light makes colours look cooler than they do on the sample.
We always recommend a sample first. Look at it in both daylight and lamplight, as the tones shift between them.
